Growth
Working as an backend software engineer, I developed automations and analytics for healthcare teams. From building RESTful microservice APIs, to creating data pipelines, or integrating with external EHRs, I learned so much about software engineering practices, communication, and taking initiative.
Projects
I built numerous health metric automations to monitor patient populations and inform care teams when needed. Dashboards allowed care teams to analyze their operations and export data to their billers. For all 'middle layer' microservice jobs, I engineered a drop-in multithreading pattern that decreased IO bottlenecks with minimal refactoring.
I saw opportunity internally to improve our tooling when searching for files that most closely match a reference so I created an independent project, Busca!
